A simple wall-mounted media screen that handles textures, video streams and audio streams from one display. Most media players I came across either did textures OR streams, or charged a lot for both. This one does both, costs L$50, and gets out of your way. WHAT IT DOES * Display any textures you drop into it - photos, art, gallery pieces, posters - and scroll between them with the side bars * Play direct video stream URLs (.mp4 and similar) on the screen * Play audio stream URLs as background music - the splash screen stays visible while the audio plays through your viewer * Power on and off with a touch * Owner-only or open to anyone, your choice via the menu HOW IT WORKS Touch the screen to power it on. The menu opens automatically. Press Inventory to scroll your loaded textures with the side bars. Press Chat URLs to type a video or audio stream URL on channel 5 and have it play on the screen. Press Stop Media to return to your splash image. Touch the screen again to power off. Adding your own textures takes seconds - drag them into the screen's Contents tab and they appear in the scroll list automatically. No reset, no reprogramming. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO YouTube and Vimeo do not work. Both services block third-party players for licensing reasons - this is a limitation of the sites, not the player. Direct .mp4 URLs and standard audio streams work fine.
